Reconnecting
Hello again. This is something we should say to ourselves each morning we glance in the mirror. Hello again. Our daily routine often serves us well to stay organized and keep our minds on track but somehow, ever so gracefully it can take away our spontaneity. Some of you might agree you did not have it to begin with, but I will argue on your behalf. We have this spontaneity for many reasons. This is how our intuition often comes to us. Our 6th sense may “pop” into our heads or show itself randomly in how we feel. Our bodies and minds are constantly redirected or guided by our silent sixth sense. When we engage in our naturally abilities we are saying, “I trust my intuition.” It is this trust that brings out our confidence, strengthens our faiths and encourages our beliefs to be real. Why doesn't our culture support this experience? It must be the lack of
understanding it. Our intuition is not scary; it is not over bearing; it does not bite. So why isn’t it taught to our culture? There is one thing the American culture does understand: facts. I encourage you to write down your intuitive thoughts and feelings in a little book. Then go back and check off all the ones that were correct. You will be surprised how accurate you are. When your brain starts to see those statistics it will join sides with your intuition and allow your skills to enhance themselves. Now is the time to start teaching yourself and nourishing your intuitive side. Wake up and say "Hello again."
This cultural desert is the driving force that pushes me to focus on different media foundations in my career; so I may teach those who want to learn but do not want to talk about it, or admit they themselves possess something so beautiful that our culture ignores it. Beyond Intuition, my TV show pilot will be launching next month. I have collected the whole body, mind and soul here. I put the innocent to the test, unravel the myth, give the history, show the accuracy and step beyond the intuition into the science, story and faith with help from Marco Pardi; scientist, David Fried; lawyer and Gail Fabrizzio; therapist. Anything can happen beyond-intuition. This show is a must see and will be first available on MaxMouth.com so stay tuned!
Earth Meditation by: Donjenna Yokley
There are so many ways in which we can send healing love to Earth. One of the most enjoyable meditations is to send gratitude to Earth. It is time for us to reciprocate the myriad of medicinal energy the Earth has bestowed upon us. One way is to begin noticing the beauty surrounding our everyday. Send thanks to the Universe, to Mother/Father God, or in Whomever you believe for the beautiful snow falling on a Sunday morning in March, for the beginning of Spring as the forsythia begins to bloom, or for the beautiful mornings as the sunrise brings in another day.
Begin by taking three deep breaths, count backwards from ten to one and relax. Take another deep breath, count from three to one and relax. Visualize yourself walking into a forest filled with lush green trees, birds singing in the background, the warm sun touching your back as you walk along a path leading to an open field of grass. There is a small stream flowing through the field surrounded by patches of yellow daffodils along its' bank. Step into the gentle bubbling brook and sit down upon the huge stone in the middle of the stream. Feel the warmth of the water as it rushes over your feet. Take another deep breath, relax even more as you feel the gentle wind softly blowing against you face.
Visualize a swarm of beautiful purple butterflies coming towards you. They are dancing around you, welcoming you into their paradise. Your body is as light as a feather as the butterflies guide you upward into the blue sky. You arrive on an enchanted island. The butterflies position you under a tree on top of a hill looking out over the deep blue ocean. In the distance is the planet Earth, only it is the size a large beach ball. Positioned around the Earth are twelve beautiful angels each three times larger than the planet itself. They are surrounded by brilliant colors of blue, green, and white. They are welcoming you into the healing circle as each one nods its head in gratitude for your presence.
Thus begins the healing energy of the Earth. Imagine all the beautiful places you have been or seen; a white capped mountaintop in Switzerland, an unforgettable sunset on the coast, the silence of a frigid snowy morning in Montana. Let gratitude fill your heart as the colors blue, green and white emanate towards the Earth. Breath again and relax as your body senses the loving warmth of energy tingling throughout your body. You have become One with the healing energy of love and gratitude with all who are present. Stay in this moment as long as you wish. The more love you give the more love you receive.
Thank all who are present for this opportunity to join this healing. Notice the purple butterflies in your field of vision. They gently carry you back to the field of green grass from which you began. Walk back into the lush forest. Again, with gratitude in your heart, say farewell to all those present as you return to your body.
Thank you for this opportunity to share this meditation. I hope you enjoy this experience as much as I have.
