I was born in Berkeley, CA in the 40's, reared in the 50's, partied in the 60's, and did not make it far into the 70's. Name a drug and musician and I did it. (Wink) I lived my life to the fullest.
My mother was classic 50's wife until she turned gypsy with bells and bangles. I quickly followed. My mother read Tarot cards; exotic people came in and out of our house. I learned I could see darkness, negativity and death on people- not the beauty. My drugs and partying were to avoid the darkness. I learned smudging (how to clean energetically) to get rid of the darkness as well.
Have you walked into a space and felt creepy? Or felt drained after a conversation? Or been in a house with paranormal activity? I'm going to teach you how to identify negative energy and how to clean it. We are naturally trained to identify with like objects, such as looking at the clouds and seeing human faces or things we are familiar with. Not all hauntings are spirits. Hauntings can be a collection of negative energy.
How does negative energy get into a house?
We and everything else are all made of energy. So are words. As you speak that energy drops down onto the floor. Positive words create positive energy, Negative words create negative energy. Like attracts like. The negative energy collects with other negative energy. Think of how arguments can affect a room over time. When the negative energy is large enough you actually feel like it has an identity of it's own but it doesn’t. What you need to do is clean it out! Like spring-cleaning your house from dirt and grime you need to spring clean your house from negative energy.
How do we identify a negative energy from a negative spirit?
Negative energy will not respond if you talk to it, it does not move like a spirit can but it can create disturbances; like a big mean dust bunny. A negative entity will move around your house, communicate (if he/she wants) and create disturbances.
What if it's a negative spirit?
If you are in communication with the spirit, first say Hello! This shows you are in control and not fearful. A negative spirit attacked me once because I thought we were equal. If you believe they can harm you like a person can, then they can. You have a lot more power than you know. You have got to remember: reality and your truth…. is what you believe. When you are human, no spirit can harm you unless you give it room to do so.
You can ask the negative spirit to leave. They might not. Often they are confused- living in two dimensions at once (your third dimension and their own). If you can't hear them, you've got to find a way to communicate, even if it's one way. Ask it- “What did you like, wouldn't you like to see it again?” Do your best to connect it with what they liked when they were alive. Look at when your house was built or what happened on the land before and this might give you some ideas of what the spirit may have been involved in. Now tell them there is a white door behind them. (white door will take them to the dimension they need to go to) If the negative spirit is just a true “ass” then they might not want to go through the door. Try any tactic to get them to look or go through the door, like tell them they are too chicken to look on the other side of the door. On the
other side will be what they are looking for- what they need to see. Approach this not as a religious moment but as a human experience. Because if this spirit is still hanging out here then most likely they do not have a strong connection with God but a strong connection with human life.
Energetic Cleaning Products:
Some items absorb negative energy. Here is a brief list: Florida water, Sage, Cedar, Salt covered in alcohol (tequila works well but I am suggesting rubbing alcohol). These all cause similar vibrations to filter or grab and take away negative energy. Whatever you like to smell is what you will use for you and in your house.
Cleaning you:
Florida water: “The Sweep” rub on hands to start from top of head and move your hands over your body (2-3 inches out) to your feet then back up the back of your body. To use in a room you can spray it in room. I dilute mine 50/50.
Sage: light like a candle, blow on it to keep the embers going to create smoke then start again from head to toe, front and back of your body (“The Sweep”) This smoke will collect negative energy off of you. Heads up baby, it smells like pot so be careful if you want to use sage at work! And sage will not set the fire alarm off unless you sit under it. To use in a room you can smoke the room in a clockwise pattern paying close attention to the doors and windows.
Cedar: same as the sage (“The Sweep”)
Salt in alcohol: Salt absorbs negative energy. Use a fireproof bowl (not ceramic, glass is okay) and pour salt in. Then pour on rubbing alcohol (like you would milk on cereal). Light with match or lighter. Salt will harden and can turn brown or black with negative energy and stay soft with clean energy. When you are done throw away the salt in a bag and take it out of the building. This technique is recommended to only stay in one spot. You light this and sit in the room with it. There is no smell to this.
Sharpie: and write positive words (love, harmony, peace) under a desk, chair, computer and more. Write “love” on the doorway people will begin to change their attitude as they enter the doorway. Emoto gave us proof of the power of words. He collected tap water in containers and wrote words on it such as love or hate. Then froze them. All positive words created perfectly beautiful crystals. Negative words created crystals like cancers- uneven, irregular growth.
Cleaning house:
Here is a great pattern to use while you are cleaning out the negative energy in your house. Start at your front door and move clockwise inside your house. (Clear the bottom floor last.) At your front door ask every spirit to leave. Create a mantra- something that fits your beliefs and covers you desires to rid your house of negative energy. Say your mantra. Start at the bottom of the door. Bless every door and window in a clockwise motion. You are sealing your house. Move from room to room in a clockwise pattern (clockwise puts energy into your intent for cleaning). Leave by whichever door is the main back door. As you go back into your house be sure to invite yourself in and your guides as well!
